Hilary Rhoda and Julie Stegner for Vogue Turkey October 2010 by Cuneyt Akeroglu

The two biggest hassles for me? Moving my clothes/shoes and my huge collection of Vogue, Vanity Fair, and Harper’s Bazaar magazines. Don’t kid yourself, those monthlies weigh a TON.
As I was moving the magazines, I had the opportunity to shuffle through a lot of the covers that I hadn’t seen in ages. But the one that stood out to me the most was the March 2008 one of Drew Barrymore.

Something about her dewy makeup grabbed my attention, and immediately the words retro and classic popped into my mind. In other words, while she looks stunning, this cover definitely feels dated to me.

Picked these up at the Bergdorf event last night. What’s more notable than the retro-80s feel, which I love? The fact that they are nose-pieceless (yes, I make up my own words), and they still fit my bridgeless Asian nose. Rare, my friends.
p.s. The designer, so sweet and gracious in person. Big fan <3
